Eat healthy in december

Yes. Believe it or not. It is possible. I am just like anybody else in December. I eat more unhealthy food than you probably should. And I think that’s OK. You can treat yourself every once in a while – especially in December.

BUT… If you want to try to be just a little tiny bit healthy during this month and still eat sweets, you can. How is that even possible?

I have a recipe for you here. I started making these last year and I’ve made them again this December. It’s super simple, healthy but delicious all at once. What could be better? It’s a great alternative if you’re like me and have a sweet tooth (really all year but especially in December) but still want to manage to be just a bit healthy.

  • 150 grams of almonds
  • 150 grams of dates
  • 40 grams of cocoa powder
  • 3 eating spoons of coconut oil
  • A little bit of salt

Start by blending the almonds in a blender or food processor. Then blend all the ingredients.

Afterwards roll the “dough” into small round balls and drizzle some coconut flakes on them.

Last but not least – enjoy!
