Why am I earnest?
Monday I uploaded this video to share something real and personal to me (BTW subscribe for new videos every Monday and Friday).
It’s kind of a form of therapy for me to be open and earnest about how I feel. And as I mentioned in my video, I don’t want stress, anxiety or depression to be taboos anymore. We all experience negativity in our lifes but for me it started to take the control. I think this Instagram photo really shows how I feel. That I am sad and have a lot of down moments but I’ve tried not to show it and just but on a smile. Not that I wanted to lie but because it was hard to say out loud that I didn’t feel like the Isabella I am deep down inside and want to be. And it’s not like I’m going to be super Debbie Downer in all my videos or blogposts from now on. I just believe that you need to acknowledge you have a problem before you’ll be able to do something about it. My video was kind of a kick-start to create the life I want.
I know it’s not going to be easy but I also know it’ll be worth it. To end this blogpost, I thought I’d share a really great quote from a very inspirational person who wasn’t afraid to do what he wanted even if it seemed odd in other peoples’ eyes.
“I don’t know where I’m going but I promise it won’t be boring” – David Bowie
